Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 28 July 2026
These terms apply to any enquiry, quotation or project undertaken by Apex Construction and Brickwork Ltd. Please read them alongside your individual written quotation, which sets out the specific details of your project.
1. About us
Apex Construction and Brickwork Ltd is registered in England & Wales, company number 17361810, registered office 120A Booth Road, London, NW9 5JY.
2. Quotations & site surveys
Quotations are based on the scope discussed and, wherever possible, a free site survey. Quotations are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. A project is only confirmed once we have received your signed acceptance and any required deposit.
3. Deposits & staged payments
Larger projects are typically split into staged payments tied to project milestones, set out clearly in your written quotation before work begins. A deposit may be required to secure your project start date.
4. Variations & additional works
Any changes to the agreed scope of work, or additional works identified once a project is underway (such as unforeseen structural issues), will be discussed and agreed in writing before proceeding, along with any associated cost.
5. Timeframes
Timeframes provided at quotation stage are realistic estimates based on the scope known at the time. Weather, access issues, and third-party delays (such as building control inspections) can affect programme, and we will communicate promptly if timelines change.
6. Planning permission & Building Regulations
We can advise on and coordinate Building Regulations compliance, and liaise with architects and planning consultants where required. Formal planning applications are typically the client’s responsibility, usually handled via an architect or planning consultant.
7. Insurance
Apex Construction and Brickwork Ltd holds public liability insurance for all residential and commercial work undertaken.
8. Workmanship
All work is carried out to Building Regulations standard. Specific guarantee terms applicable to your project will be set out in your written quotation.
9. Site access & conditions
You are responsible for ensuring our team has suitable and safe access to the site. Any specific site restrictions, shared access arrangements, or neighbour considerations should be communicated to us in advance of work starting.
10. Cancellations
Cancellation terms depend on how far into the project process you cancel, and are set out in your written quotation. Deposits may be non-refundable where materials have been ordered or work scheduled.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England & Wales, and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
